About

D. Sutton Beck grew up in the West, primarily in Utah and Idaho with summers spent in Wyoming and Colorado.  From the time she could walk she was an avid rock collector, gathering animal and bird shaped stones.  She has always been enthralled with the way light and color interacts with gemstones, quite possibly a universal condition.  At the age of 15, she was selling her jewelry in downtown Salt Lake City at Edison St. Gallery.

Her designs evolve spontaneously from nature’s infinite palette of color, texture, and shape with a preference for the rare and uncommon gemstones.  She is also inspired by the changing of the seasons and often incorporates woven elements into her designs.  She uses sterling, fine silver, vermeil, copper occasionally, and 14K gold upon request to complement her jewelry.

Her work is mostly one-of-a-kind and has a classic quality that can be passed down to future generations as heirlooms.  Her work has been described as intuitive, affordable, sophisticated, enduring, and extraordinarily beautiful.

She hopes you will find a piece of jewelry first aesthetically and second emotionally, a connection that enhances your own personality.
